Joan Lunden to Host Health Corner TV Series

Joan Lunden, the nation's longest-running morning news anchor, hosted ABC's Good Morning America for nearly two decades. During her tenure she reported from 26 countries, covered four presidents, five Olympics, and two Royal weddings. One of the most visible women in the country, Lunden has devoted much of her career to educating Americans about health and wellness through her books, speeches and national media campaigns. Lunden's years in broadcast television have endeared her to audiences nationwide, and she continues to reach millions of Americans with her work as a vocal parenting and women's health advocate.

Health Corner, a weekly series sponsored by Walgreens, focuses on health issues important to women. Recent interviewees include Sally Field about osteoporosis and bone health, Jamie Lee Curtis on digestive health, "You Doc" Dr. Michael Roizen on weight loss, and ABC anchor Bob Woodruff and wife Lee on overcoming traumatic brain injury.

Weekly features include "What's Cookin' with ChefMD®", a popular cooking segment about culinary medicine, which illustrates how food can work like medicine in your body.
