Constance Marie's Tips for Moms Going Through IVF
Constance Marie knows how difficult it is to go through IVF. She went through it three times herself, before becoming pregnant with her daughter, Luna. Here are her tips for helping to reduce the stress of IVF, and, just perhaps, increase your chances of a successful pregnancy:
- Try stress reduction techniques such as yoga or acupuncture – or both. There is growing evidence that both of these disciplines increase the chance of conception.
- Avoid hormones in food by buying organic whenever possible. Since you're already being loaded down with synthetic hormones, it's especially important to avoid them in meat and milk.
- Educate yourself about other toxins in food, such as the heavy metals found in fish. Find healthier alternatives.
- Be aware of chemicals in the everyday environment, such as in clothing, carpets and dishware. Replace toxic items with nontoxic products as much as possible.
