Rothrock's Advice for Working Out After Childbirth:
- Start exercising slowly.
- Pay attention to how your body reacts. Rothrock had a C-section and started yoga six weeks after giving birth. That felt OK, so she gradually added more strenuous exercise.
- Consider swimming. This type of exercise puts less stress on your recovering body. Today, Rothrock loves to swim but if not for her pregnancy, she wouldn't have thought of adding it to her exercise routine.
