Getting Motivated
Carnie Wilson has a love/hate relationship with exercise. Although she loves the way it makes her look and feel, she hates having to actually do it to get the results. She solves the problem by using the buddy system and she highly recommends it to anyone who, like her, would rather stay in bed than get up and go to the gym.
"Exercising with a friend is the best tip I could ever give anyone," Wilson says. "Even if that friend is just Earth, Wind and Fire on your headphones, if it motivates you to get up and get out it's a great thing."
Her latest craze is the workout studio Curves, which she calls an "awesome idea" because the gyms are peopled by women who look like real women, and it's a complete workout in a short period of time. Even so, she always makes dates to go to Curves with a friend so she has even more reason to get there.
